On the recent bank holiday weekend I went home to visit my parents, and headed down to my village’s annual chilli festival.
As someone who really loves her chillies, I was totally in my element. There were so many stalls exhibiting crazy fiery products, and I had no idea where to start.
The circle of life is continuing on my windowsill. You may remember my last post about my tiny chilli garden, and I’m happy to say that things are only getting better!

Well, maybe I’m not entirely self-sufficient yet. But believe me, this is due to lack of windowsill space rather than a lack of want! Whilst I don’t have yards of lettuces and potatoes happily growing away, I do have several chilli plants – that I have come to love (especially in lieu of a pet – landlord’s rules).
